Over time, your dashboard accumulates demo tests, completed exams, and outdated assessments. Archiving moves tests out of your main view without deleting them, and deletion permanently removes tests you no longer need.

Archiving Tests

Archiving a test hides it from your main dashboard while keeping it fully accessible in a dedicated section. This is useful for clearing out completed or demo tests without losing any data.
1

Open Test Settings

Go to your Dashboard and open the test’s Settings.
2

Archive the Test

Click Archive Test to move the test out of your main dashboard view.
3

Access Archived Tests

Open the Archived Tests section in the left sidebar to view all your archived tests.

Restoring Archived Tests

You can return an archived test to your main dashboard at any time.
1

Go to Archived Tests

Click Archived Tests in the left sidebar.
2

Restore the Test

Find the test you want to restore and click Restore. The test reappears on your main dashboard.

Deleting Tests

You can permanently delete a test from the Archived Tests section. You must archive a test before you can delete it.
1

Archive the Test

If the test is still on your main dashboard, archive it first using the steps above.
2

Go to Archived Tests

Open the Archived Tests section in the left sidebar.
3

Delete the Test

Click Delete next to the test you want to remove permanently.
Deleting a test removes it from your account permanently. However, candidate answers and proctoring records are preserved — that data persists even after the test is deleted. For example, if you load the Google Forms add-on after you delete the test, the test will re-appear on your dashboard, with the old results intact.
