Collaborators can co-manage your tests by viewing results, changing settings, and accessing all test data. You add collaborators by sharing the test’s Collaborate link, which you find under Manage on the test’s Settings page.
Only Premium and Elite plan users can manage collaborators. Collaborators must already be members of your team. If someone is not yet on your team, invite them to join your team first.

How to Add a Collaborator

Open the Test's Settings

Go to your Tests page and click Settings next to the test. The collaborators card near the top of the page shows how many collaborators the test has and who they are.

Click Manage

Click Manage on the collaborators card. The Collaborators dialog opens with the list of people who administer the test.

Copy the Collaborate Link

At the bottom of the dialog, click the copy icon next to the Collaborate link, then click Done.

Share the Link

Send the copied link to the team member you want to add as a collaborator.

Collaborator Opens the Link

When the person opens the link while signed in to AutoProctor, they gain access to the test immediately and land on its results. They appear in the collaborators list for that test.
Anyone on your team who opens the collaborate link becomes a collaborator. Share it only with people you trust with full test access.

Collaborator Permissions

Once added, collaborators receive full read and edit access to the test. Only the primary admin can manage the other collaborators.

The Primary Admin

The primary admin is the account (or team) whose credits are deducted on every submission. Their email may be visible to candidates. The person who creates a test is its primary admin. In the Collaborators dialog, the primary admin is listed first with a Primary admin badge, and your own row carries a You badge. On the collaborators card, (primary admin) follows their name.
The primary admin cannot be removed from a test. To take them off the test, they must first make someone else the primary admin.

Removing a Collaborator

Only the primary admin sees the Remove and Make primary buttons.

Open the Collaborators Dialog

On the test’s Settings page, click Manage on the collaborators card.

Click Remove

Click Remove next to the person, then confirm with Remove.
The person loses access to the test’s results and settings. For Socratease quizzes, their edit permission on the quiz is removed too.
A collaborator cannot remove themselves from a test. To stop seeing a test, turn on Hide from my dashboard in the General section of its Settings. It only affects your own view, and the other collaborators still see the test.

Changing the Primary Admin

Open the Collaborators Dialog

On the test’s Settings page, click Manage on the collaborators card.

Click Make Primary

Click Make primary next to the collaborator who should take over, then confirm with Make primary admin.
After the handover, credits for new submissions are deducted from the new primary admin’s account or team. You stay on the test as a collaborator, but you lose the ability to remove collaborators or change the primary admin.
