You can control if and when candidates see their quiz scores and the correct answers. This gives you full flexibility — from instant feedback to withholding results entirely.

Result Release Options

Socratease provides four ways to release scores and results to candidates:

1. Immediately, on Submission

Candidates see their score immediately after they submit the quiz. For auto-evaluated questions (such as MCQ, MCA, and Autograded Text), they can also see the correct answers and whether they got each question right.

2. When Individual Score is Released

You click a release button within each candidate’s results to share the score with that specific candidate. This lets you review and release results one by one, at your own pace.

3. When All Scores are Released

You release scores for all candidates of the test at once. This is useful when you want everyone to see their results at the same time, such as after grading is complete.

4. They Never See the Results

Once candidates submit the quiz, they see a confirmation that they can close the tab. The results are never revealed to them.

Hiding Questions and Answers from the Candidate Report

When results are visible to candidates (any option other than “never”), you can optionally choose to hide the specific questions and answers while still displaying the score. Candidates see how they performed overall but cannot review individual questions or correct answers.
This option is unavailable when you select “They never see the results,” since the candidate report is not shown at all in that case.

Candidate Access

Candidates can view their attempted quizzes at autoproctor.co/account/socratease-history/. What they see depends on the score release status you have configured.
